Austin Exploration acquired gravity and magnetometer data on board Geco (now WesternGeco) and TGS-NOPEC geophysical boats that acquired 2-D seismic data for the area shown on the survey map.
There are 150,000 kilometers of data within this survey.
The gravity data were recorded with LaCoste and Romberg SEASYS™ and ZLS UltraSys™ digital acquisition and control systems with one second recording. A full complement of factory recommended spare parts, including a spare gyro, accompanied the meters so any data missed was negligible. The magnetometer data were recorded with a Geometrics Proton Precession Magnetometer.
The gravity and magnetic data were processed by ARK Geophysics.
